This is an interesting tea, and conveniently packaged for pot-by-pot consumption without having to break chunks from a typically-larger pu'erh cake. Taste is well-rounded and earthy, and it brews to an appealing dark color. There is not, in my opinion, a sufficient amount of the additional herb that is added to 'sticky rice' tea that gives this kind of tea its unique spicy flavor and fragrance - this is a mild version.

This tea is my favorite puehr tea. It has a wonderful sweet earthiness that, believe it or not, rounds out my pour over coffee perfectly (I put one cake in with the grounds or if I want more flavor I put it in the carafe), or is perfect on its own, hot or cold brewed. I can’t recommend it enough!!

This tea is nothing like I’ve ever had, in the best, most cozy, tasty, and sticky rice way! It tastes EXACTLY like how sweet rice or rice generally smells when cooked, with lots of sweetness, earthiness, and umami that’s not overpowering, but soothing. I am wildly impressed. And if you’re unsure about it? Give it a try, you won’t regret it!!!

This tea is amazing. Sweet and mellow, it's also a good additive to another stronger tea. The caffeine is easy on the stomach and doesn't keep me up, even if I drink it right before bedtime!

I drink sticky rice puerh every morning! I have a large tea steeper I toss the cake in and it makes the brewing process seamless. Due to this being the fermented puerh, the steeping time is flexible and it won’t become bitter (apposed to the raw version) The aroma of the sticky rice is sweet in the air giving it an almost food/filling quality. I drink it black and get a 2 large mugs out of one cake. I originally found this in an authentic tea shop, but they only restock from China twice a year. I was thrilled to find Revival and use the auto ship feature. This tea has completely replaced my morning coffee with its high caffeine level, but none of the jitters or depleted feeling after. Not to mention the health benefits that a fermented tea provides.

The first time I ever tried pu erh tea was about five years ago at Vital Leaf in Seattle. I have been chasing that flavor ever since, and Revival's selection has finally ended my search! Their sticky rice pu-erh is a blend of earthy flavors and the taste of the crispy rice at the bottom of the cooker. The texture of the tea is so smooth and rich !!
