The Best Tea Strainers

Best Tea Strainers
Maybe you're looking to move onto loose leaf tea but want to know where to start. No one can debate the convenience a paper tea bag or sachet can provide, although loose leaf tea can be the more economic option in the long run. Today we are going to highlight 4 of our favorite companions to make loose leaf tea.

25 OZ. TEMPERED GLASS TEA POT INFUSER WITH STAINLESS STEEL BASKET
25 OZ. TEMPERED GLASS TEA POT INFUSER WITH STAINLESS STEEL BASKET

$9.99

This tea pot infuser features a durable tempered glass design and sleek black plastic body. A sturdy handle ensures a solid grip for precise pouring, while a convenient knob handle makes placement and removal of the lid quick and easy. The crystal-clear tempered glass carafe enables optimum visibility from all angles so your guests can keep an eye on the strength and level of tea within. If you enjoy a few cups in the morning or want a sturdy companion to make tea for two this tea pot is a fantastic option!

Hand Mesh Strainer

HAND MESH STRAINER

$4.99

The tool we use for every cup we make at our Revival HQ and Tea House located in downtown Spokane. For a pure perfect cup of tea it doesn't get much better than a hand mesh strainer. Letting the tea steep directly in the water will extract the most flavor combined with a pour over method. This isn't the most convenient method as you will need two mugs( one to strain, one to drink out of) but this is the purest form of making tea!

2" STAINLESS STEEL TEA BALL INFUSER

2" STAINLESS STEEL TEA BALL INFUSER

$3.99

Probably the most commonly used tea strainer in the world. This steel ball opens to put your tea in acting like a tea bag. You then close the ball and use the hook to hang from the side of your mug. A great option for those just getting started with loose leaf tea.

STAINLESS STEEL SPRING HANDLE TEA BALL INFUSER

STAINLESS STEEL SPRING HANDLE TEA BALL INFUSER

$4.99

I often tell customers that if I could travel back in time and choose my first tea strainer in would be this one. The spring handle allows you to open the tea ball and scoop tea right out of the bag. Then simple place the ball into the water and remove by it's handle when your timer has gone off. If you're looking for the easiest way to transition from tea bags to loose leaf tea this is our top pick.

There are so many other options out there, these are just some of our favorites. You'll be able to find tea strainers resembling unicorns or flowers although sometimes they are not the best at flavor infusing. We also love electric tea kettles like the Willsence Electric Kettle we sell in store but we will save that for another day. For simple daily tea strainers we think these are the best options out there!

Cheers,

Revival Tea Co.
