Today at Revival Tea Academy we are talking about our Tropical Green Tea. This is a very approachable Green tea and is made with a Japanese Sencha. We add pineapple, papaya and cornflower petals (to add a little dash of indigo). To make a cup we will first take one teaspoon of tea per eight ounces of water. If you're using a tea bag that will work as well. Next we'll take 175 degree water and pour it over our tea leaves. Next we'll set a timer for 3 minutes. After the 3 minutes is over we will pour it over a hand mesh strainer. If you're using a tea bag or tea tea ball now would be the time to remove that.
This cup is very bright, and you will definitely pick up on the sweet Sencha. The pineapple and papaya really come together to make an approachable Green Tea. Our Tropical Green tea is available here in loose leaf and in tea bags.
Cheers,
